Last week, a 72-year-old New Canaan man faced vehicular manslaughter charges for allegedly striking and killing a motorcyclist last fall. In Darien, an 89-year-old man turned himself in after allegedly hitting and severely injuring 15-year-old pedestrian on Hoyt Street.

Bond was denied Sunday morning for two men charged with murder in the death of a west suburban Darien couple and their son. Jacob B. Nodarse, 23, of Countryside, and Johnny Borizov, 28, of Willow Springs, were charged in the murders of Jeffrey Kramer, 50, his wife, Lori, 48, and their 20-year-old son, Michael, who were shot multiple times March 2 after being ambushed in their upscale home.

A DuPage County judge ordered two men held this morning without bond in the Darien triple slaying. Johnny Borizov, 28, of Willow Springs, and Jacob Nodarse, 23, of Countryside, are charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Borizov also faces murder solicitation charges.
